I love Disneyland

Saturday, February 18th, 2006

my valentine-honMe_and_julia_123_1ey Brian(which is not restricted to valentine any more) yesterday took me to HK Disneyland. So instead of picnicing on IFC rooftop we ate sweet popcorn in Tarzan’s treehouse. Almost. Me_and_julia_139But it was Me_and_julia_140quite fun. Brian   tried to bang the big mama-monkey and I had a short intermezzo with muscular Tarzan. No, it wasn’t as naughty as it sounds rite here, I’ll add some pictures soon for better understanding. (Don’t judge too hard just because my eyes are misteriously glancing when I put hands on Tarzan’s upper leg).

I tried really hard to see mainlanders urinating to sleeping beauties castle or misbehaving in any other way but for this Me_and_julia_090_4day they seemed to be perfectly mannered. Damn. But ohh, we saw two monks doing the rollercoster with us. how cool is that!!!

whatelse did we do?…. climbing inside the portected area of tarzan’s treehouse and makingMe_and_julia_079 funny pictures. making fun of other tourists. obsessively waving at foreign ppl. (that’s what they teach you there, yess). having sweet popcorn, watching the fireworks, going for 3D animation, posing with mickey and doing the rollercoster again. haha, really cool. hh…and the thing with the indian guy, sorry, I forced him….

Me_and_julia_150So come and visit HK Disneyland but don’t forget to bring fun/ppl or bfs/gfs (thaz even better). otherwise you might not find it that interesting. For me, I enjoyed it a lot. (And not just because of the Tarzan figure….)

happy valentine’s day

Tuesday, February 14th, 2006

hey everybody!! wish you a happy valentine’s day and hope you’re as lucky as me. I’m actually going to have a real date this time, with a real valentine honey and everything that goes with that. Yesterday we already picniced on IFC open rooftop be4 going to movies. The spot where they actually have real green grass. Since I saw that place I always wanted to hang out there sometime and have picnic. Finally I got the chance.  Very romantic, eating sushi and watching the sea with skyline. Timing was perfect too. The security guy who kicked us out just noticed shortly be4 the movie started :)

For tonight no picnic since it is raining, but if everythings’s working out we might have a big hot pot party, just hope it’s not yet booked out. More, if any girl is free, pls call me. we have shy friends available just willing to come out when they will have a date for valentines. so don’t miss your chance….

to HK today

Tuesday, February 7th, 2006

Gotta make a break from speed packing which doesn´t really pay off that much. I´m throwing all useful things for my HK trip into my suitcase just to see that it won´t fit in. Then everything out again, and try to stuff it more carefully just to notice in the end that I can close my suitcase, but that it is terribly overweight. But I promised myself not to leave the booze behind. So I checked the weather report for the coming week and decided to throw all my pullovers out since it´s gonna be 20 degrees plus daytime.

I´m so excited, can´t wait to arrive and continue my HK life, even though it´s just for three weeks. I´ll big big shopping - as much as my suitcase allows and a little bit more - and I finally get to eat seafood again. And most important, I finally will get food to eat that I didn´t have to prepare be4. Not that my cooking skills are so bad, but I´m just so lazy.

ohh, and good news. I´ll share a room with richard gere. no, not really. but I found my HK sim card again. My Diesel got torn and I it got stuck somewhere inbetween.

So, see you soon. And richard, pls leave me the keys under the flowerpot….

filmriss um elf

Saturday, February 4th, 2006

who know´s the band lassie singers? they were quite hot in the 90s and did a lot of critical songs toward men. because we liked that concept (and escpecially the types of songs) we decided to do the same.

for that we founded a band too. till now it is just mary, tom and me. because of our male member we decided to call ourselves "der gehört auch zu uns" (= he belongs to us too).

so, today we wrote our first song called "filmriss um elf" (mental breakdown at eleven). It´s about a girl getting drunk, having a one-night stand and then the next morning realizing the guy she went home with hasn´t really been mr. fantastic.

here some extracts:

……

……
……

ich weiß da gibt’s ne wunderbar

mit echten Männern drin

so leicht beschwipst da zieht es uns

magnetisch  nach dort hin

Die Tür geht auf, wir stürmen rein

ich glaub ich seh nicht recht

ein heißer Typ im Männermeer

ich hoff mal der is echt.
…….

…….

…….

ref:

pls for all non-natives: don´t try to translate it. it´s quite… harsh. and the moral of that song is: don´t drink so much alcohol girls.

much better

woha, I´m feeling much better now. The scholarship is still messed up, but I´m on my way to sue them. Theoretically.

At least the appoíntment with my prof turned out to be quite positive. He just wanted to congratulate me for my work in that course and rewarded me with a book on ethnology. A really good and funny one. I even got a signiture, wishing me good luck in my project in HK. wow, I feel special.

and then, I got my camera back. the one I lost at new years. really, that made my day
